Simply like free societies exist only with the separation of church and state so should there be a separation of corporations and state.

If there’s no such separation then the corporations that became huge as a result of of peddling previous and dirty technologies like oil corporations will continually lobby the state to keep out new and smaller corporations from pursuing research in newer and cleaner technologies. That is exactly what it happening these days.

Corporations have an excessive amount of control over government and that is a dangerous thing. Capitalism isn’t the bogey man here, it’s flawed politics.
