No doubt these animals suffer from stomach upsets from time to time. A dog eats grass to stimulate vomiting. This is their way of expelling substances that do not agree with their digestive systems.
Owners need not be too concerned about the grass consumption tendency of their dog. It is after all better than eating poop.
